DAA offers dual-credit courses through Andrews University and Union College, and we also work with many other colleges and universities in the country. Our Academic Standards Committee works with students interested in taking dual-credit college courses in order to ensure a good fit.
Starting college can save you money, expand your horizons, help you get ahead academically in college, and overall be a great investment of time and energy; here is some information about being successful in college courses as a high school student:
- Most dual-enrolled students thrive in early college experiences when they are supported by their local school. DAA takes this seriously and works with students to commit to collegiate success. This also pays off when our students graduate and become full-fledged college students.
- Dual-enrolled students succeed when they commit to following deadlines for registration, buying textbooks, completing assignments, and taking tests. Being proactive with your personal management skills always pays off in the long run.
- Invest your time, money, and energy on courses that will benefit your goals in life; always feel free to talk with a college advisor about your ideas.
