Union College
Union College offers several different credit options for high school students:
  1. Summer Online Courses - this summer, Union offered West and the World (HIST 157) and Ancient Western Literature (LITR 231).  Summer classes are available for deeply discounted tuition rates!
  2. Advanced Enrollment - These student pay’s 10% of regular Union College tuition for each hour they are enrolled, up to 7 credits each semester. For the 17-18 school year, that figure is $92 per credit hour. Payment is due when the application paperwork is submitted. Enrollment beyond 7 credits requires approval of the Vice President for Academic Administration, and is charged at full tuition rates. If a student that has completed advanced enrollment student courses enrolls at Union College as a full time student the semester after they complete high school, all their Advanced Enrollment tuition charges will be refunded onto their student account.
Also, did you know that Union College,  with the highest NCLEX-RN first-time pass rate (97%) in Nebraska, has a new Guaranteed Nursing Admission track?  That means high school students with a 3.5 GPA and 24 ACT (or 1650 on new SAT) or higher, could be eligible to reserve a seat in Union's nursing program as soon as they enroll in first semester classes.  If you are considering nursing for a career, this guarantee is important because it puts students on track for completing the program successfully and with a better timeframe.  If you are interested in learning more about this program, visit their nursing program website here.
